This song, with its lyrics about mechanical terror, describes the relationship between those who serve power and those who are sacrificed to it. While discussing what people who hold power and want to keep it do to achieve this, I wanted to explain that this power actually requires the sacrifice of people in order to exist, and that those sacrificed need power in order to escape this fate.
